Chuck’s Auto Service has been a reliable and trustworthy auto repair shop serving the Sturgis, Michigan area for nearly 50 years. Chuck McClain opened his shop in 1976, but his experience in auto service dates back to when he was a child holding the light while his father would repair vehicles. Chuck has a lifelong passion for auto service and prides himself on providing the highest quality services to his customers. Between his formal auto tech training and lifetime of experience working with vehicles, Chuck and his team are equipped to diagnose, haul, and repair any vehicle facing any issues.

My sister and I were traveling with our kids, returning from a family vacation. We were more than 250 miles from home when we encountered debris on I80 that blew out our tire and caused damage to the rim. Called several shops in town, but the only one who would help was Chuck: all the other shops told us they didn't carry rims. While Chuck didn't have the rim we needed on hand, he sent one of his crew the 100 miles to Grand Rapids and back to pick one up. We were back on the road later that day, and incredibly grateful. Reasonable price, but what really stood out was the kindness and friendliness of Chuck and his entire team. The kids had a great time playing with their dog, and what could have been a disastrous end to our vacation turned into a funny and memorable story that we'll always remember. It's not everyday that you run across genuine kindness, and we're so grateful that God allowed us to cross paths with Chuck. I can't recommend the shop more highly!

Great costumer service! I broke down last Thursday evening and gave Chuck a call and he got me right in Friday morning and had me back on the road that afternoon. Extremely fair on his prices especially with having to put me ahead of other ppl that way I could get back home to Arkansas! Gave me a truck to use during the day to explore the town and sent me to the BEST breakfast place I’ve ever ate at! I will definitely be using him and his crew again if I ever have troubles that way. Also if you go, you have to met Cal! Thanks again Chuck!
